Even though I know I have worked very hard on producing my own videos, I've learned that a good leader works having on mind that people are following him/her. I've also learned that COMMUNICATING is vital for collaborative work and this is why starting tomorrow I have decided that the story time team will meet for five minutes at the beginning of class to make sure every one knows exactly what they have to do. Also, as a team we figured that it is important for the 'planner' to guide the person in charge of film so they have the same vision through out and then can explain it to the editor.
My main goal right now is figuring out a system where all videos are turned in on time. I am looking forward to David Fishman's presentation as he is a successful business man and leader and has gone through failure many times. I will ask him how will he describe an ideal leader and then try to emulate his description through time.
Not for self: "Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by results not attributes." (brainy quote) . The important part is the outcome, if you work hard for the team then the consequences will reflect it.
