Trade:How many notebooks do you carry with you to school? Probably none (or maybe a few given that it's required for math). We use laptops for any other classes because it's the most "efficient" way to plot down ideas and share them with others . With this believe or habit, we've left behind the true value of paper and pen, and that many times, it's actually the best way we remember things--the best way to learn. After reading chapter 12 we discussed as a group as usual but we decided to take a more creative step forward in order to absorb the vital bits of naked economics's focus on trade. I've got to admit we're not Pablo Picasso or A+ artists but it was still very engaging to try to figure out what each duo came up with to symbolise the chapter in only five minutes. Though doodling through a class is currently perceived as distraction or disinterest towards the topic, it's time to view it differently: a visual learning strategy that we can't underestimate.

Great point! We can't sacrifice effectiveness for efficiency. On a separate note, where's my beautiful drawing? :)

DD! great point!!! I also believe that we should start leaving our laptops aside, and take some time to reflect through drawing. In fact, I loved the way you ended your reflection: "Though doodling through a class is currently perceived as distraction or disinterest towards the topic, it's time to view it differently: a visual learning strategy that we can't underestimate.
